This is a mini documentary I did for San Diego City College TV Show “Stories the La Frontera.”
Result: In this documentary I demonstrated my skills as a reporter, camera operator, and video editor; what is now called a “one-man-band.”

This is my news anchor demo for a  news show at San Diego City College. I was the co-anchor.
Result: I learned how to communicate with the viewers by updating them on news breaks while demonstrating my skills on reading the teleprompter in an engaging and professional manner.

I did this weather forecast for a class at San Diego City College, it was unscripted and unrehearsed.
Result: I demonstrated my bilingual skills by reporting on the forecast in Spanish without having a script to go by, and without any prior rehearsals.

This is an interview demo I did for a television reporting class at San Diego City College.
Result: I came up with a name for a talk show, and interviewed people with entertaining and important stories that would appeal to my expected audience demographic.

I reported and put together this news package for a weekly news show that aired on ITV Channel 16 in San Diego, Calif.
Result: I became more knowledgeable in interviewing, reporting and editing for broadcast news. The news package aired for a mother’s day special.

This video shows many clips for when I was selected to be the anchor for Newscene.
Result: I showed my skills reading a teleprompter, communicating news to the viewers in a conversational and professional manner.

This is an example of an entertainment segment I produced and reported for Newscene on ITV Channel 16.
Result: I showed my knowledge in researching topics and editing videos that would entice the viewers to know more about events in the San Diego area.

I did this news package to report on the animals that were evacuated during the wildfires in San Diego, in May 2014.

Result: I learned how to put together an informative news package for breaking news stories.
