Marcia Villavicencio

Marcia Villavicencio, is originally from Peru and currently resides in San Diego, CA. After high school, Marcia joined the Armed Forces and served honorably for four years; while on active duty she was awarded two achievement medals for her accomplishments. She’s currently still in the Navy as a Reservist and is excited to continue on to complete 20 years of service. 

Marcia is a very dedicated individual. After earning an Associate’s in liberal arts with honors at San Diego City College, she transferred to San Diego State University to pursue a major in journalism with emphasis in media studies. Her go-getter attitude has always made her stand out, and her drive has pushed her to never settle, but to always find a way to improve in the skills she’s learned along the way.

In the many jobs she’s held in the military and beyond, she’s become very knowledgeable on social media engagement, along with creating and editing content for blogs and news websites. She has also produced and written stories for broadcast news. Marcia is very comfortable with public speaking and enjoys being talent for radio and television.

Marcia’s passion for social media and the entertainment industry shows in her work and accomplishments. Her skills and education have given her the expertise to be confident, reliable, and able to communicate with people in an effective and professional manner.

She is eager to continue learning more and creating content for her social media platforms, as well as teaching small businesses the power of engagement and communication on the social networks.
